Dr. Jasvinder Singh is a board-certified general surgeon with fellowship training in colorectal surgery, bringing together advanced surgical technique, peer-reviewed research, and a public-health perspective on how care is actually delivered.
He earned his medical degree from Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, one of India's premier medical institutions, and trained in general surgery in the United States — beginning with an internship at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and completing residency at New York Medical College / Westchester Medical Center. He then pursued a post-doctoral research fellowship in surgical oncology at Johns Hopkins Hospital, followed by fellowship training in colorectal surgery at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in affiliation with the University of Illinois at Chicago.
To deepen his expertise in healthcare delivery, Dr. Singh earned a Master of Public Health in Quality and Patient Safety from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health — a perspective that informs every aspect of his clinical work.
He has authored peer-reviewed publications and presented at major national conferences including the American College of Surgeons, the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, and SAGES. His research spans colorectal cancer, retroperitoneal sarcoma, surgical quality improvement, and novel diagnostic technologies including hyperspectral imaging.
